Best experience at Grunwalderhof! Although room was a bit tiny (I would have loved a small terrace), position, service and meals were incredibly good. Place has a great ambience. not really a beer person but their tap beer is good - light and flavorful. Also had Roast pork, goulash soup, and schnitzel. Roast pork was a bit heavy for me, good for sharing
The best meal we had in Innsbruck, perfect food and generous portions with very friendly and generous staff/owner. They were fully booked but allowed us to sit at the Ausschank with our small children World health organization they engaged and talked to throughout. The food and wine welches superb.
The big Christmas market on Maria Theresien Street in Innsbruck is particularly famous and popular. The market stalls are beautifully decorated and sell various regional products.
